Aimee G. Russell, MD

Dr. Aimee Russell graduated summa cum laude from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology, and subsequently earned her MD degree at the University of Minnesota. She spent a preliminary year as an intern in Internal Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, after which she returned to the University of Minnesota to complete her training in Radiation Oncology. She is certified in radiation oncology by the American Board of Radiology, and is a member of ASTRO. Dr. Russell has experience in treating a wide variety of adult malignancies using various modalities, including IMRT and HDR brachytherapy. Areas of special interest include lung cancer, breast cancer, and palliative care.
