Stuart Merl, MD
Dr. Merl received his medical degree at Brown University and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He completed his Medical Oncology and Hematology training at the SUNY Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, New York. Dr. Merl is board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology.
His practice covers all areas of medical oncology as well as benign and malignant hematology. In addition for the last twenty years, he has been heavily involved in developing and planning multidisciplinary treatments for cancers of the head and neck region.
Dr. Merl is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Wright State University. He has been Chairman of Kettering Medical Center’s Cancer Committee since 2006 and is the Associate Principal Investigator for the Dayton Clinical Oncology Program.
Dr. Merl is the author of many medical publications and articles on Oncology and Hematology and has been involved in multiple clinical research trials.
