Douglas Einstein, MD, PhD

Dr. Einstein has extensive experience in the radiotherapeutic treatment of cancer using a wide variety of state-of-the-art modalities including: Gamma Knife Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Cyberknife and Tomotherapy Extracranial radiosurgery, Image-Guided Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IGRT/IMRT), Low and High Dose Rate brachytherapy including Mammosite.
He earned his MD and PhD degrees from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York as part of the prestigious National Institute of Health Medical Scientist Training Program. He came to KMC from the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center in Cleveland where he was vice chairman and clinical director of the Department of Radiation Oncology.
Dr. Einstein has been honored by election to the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honorary, and was recently elected to the Consumer's Guide to Top Doctors (2009). He has authored numerous publications and book chapters, and is an invited lecturer and course leader for various national societies
